Just to be clear, I'm genuinely asking. I know they tear up docks and stuff, but I didn't see anything in that video other than maybe drinking while doing it?

Do you have any idea what a dock cost, including permitting, building, and maintaining? Do you have any idea how a wake from one of these boats affect shoreline erosion in front of my property, which is slowly washing into the lake, never to be recovered?

I didn't, either. Guy riding a wakeboard, and doing it pretty well, with a wake that I've seen behind a lot of other boats including bass rigs. Looks like he's away from the bank, too. He's merely surfing the boat wake and doing a good job of it.

As for the erosion and cost of docks, that's part of a lake.

Or we could start restricting boat sizes, speeds, outboard sizes, have no-wake areas, speed limits and a lot of restrictions, laws and regulations.

I mean, who really NEEDS more than one way to enjoy the lake, anyway?

Liberty is fun to talk about, but hard to live with. Most folks don’t want to be infringed upon, but they want to infringe the crap out of everyone else. And yes, we have a lake house too, so I get that part too.

Looks like a good time to me, not sure if that is typical or not.

I LIKE

BTW, for some of the previous posters, bass boats don't leave much wake. Nor does jet-skis, pontoons, flat-bottoms, especially compared to a WAKE-board boat designed to produce HUGE wakes.
