Opelika has indoor 50yrd practice field, weights from wall to wall, film rooms, Practice field leads out to turf playing field with jumbo tron screen for live feed and replays. Some High schools are becoming small colleges. Kind of ridiculous.

I've wondered several times why none of the Alabama junior colleges have a football team, they have basketball, baseball and other sports. It seems it would be easier to monitor those academic and athletic borderline qualifiers for the bigger teams than have them in Mississippi and other states. I have wondered the same thing for years.

MMI used to have one when I went to high school there in the early-mid 80,s

I wish Alabama had JUCO football. A ton of players could use two more years of development and the academic boost.

JUCO football is only big in a handful of states. Mississippi, Kansas, Arizona, and California come to mind off the top of my head.
It's not really a "thing" in most other states.
