220-2-.02, section 2 (e)
(e) It shall be unlawful to possess any equipment that uses electronics to increase the ability to see in the dark (night vision equipment) while hunting any species of wildlife, both protected or unprotected species.
They added this, best I can recall, right after the first gen ATN x-sight came to market. Yes, it's a day/night scope that you can use during legal hours. It is also a night scope you can use after legal hours. They added this with the definition of legal light changing from being able to see (full moon) to 30min before/after designated time each day. So all of the hog and coyote hunters using night vision and thermal sights are breaking the law ? Heck, even the state was using electronics to take hogs at one time.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...
