Gonna get yer door kicked it at 2AM.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

That is a really good deal and it is really tempting but I shouldn't spend the money frown

Same here, although I was discussing suppressed firearms with my wife the other day and she thought it was a good idea.

If you were going to get into the suppressor game, would you get a .22lr bolt gun or a .300 blackout in AR or bolt action ? Would primarily be used for critter control around food plots, etc.

If you play that Silencerco deal correctly you can get cans for both. If you're going 300Blk I would advise building an AR pistol with one of the newer braces.

Was really thinking about a Ruger American that is factory threaded. Wouldn't the AR need adjustable gas block to keep gas down and make you manually cycle the bolt ?

Also, from what some friends with them have said, the .22 is a 50 yr fun and the .300BO a 100 yr gun ?

Pretty sure "yr" is supposed to be "yd" and "fun" is supposed to be "gun"

A .22 is no change for me I just shoot CCI standard velocity and it suppresses fine at full power.

With a .300blk from my experience an animal (in this case I'm talking hogs) over 100lbs...... one shot kills are less certain outside of a head shot. But consider it is somewhat limited - I'm not a big hog hunter. Either way I've never been confident in .300blk with one subsonic shot to kill a deer, hog, etc.

In an effort to find something that I would be confident with... I've been toying with .45-70 and .458 socom. Right now after messing this these 2 rounds I believe .450 bushmaster might be the way to go. That's just because of bullet selection, nothing more to it. You have a lot of pistol bullets to choose from and expansion at low velocity is what they are designed to do. I've got one of those on deck and will be trying to replicate some .45LC loads.

Still going to be a 100yd tops kinda gun but I've shot deer with a .45lc pistol and if I can get that suppressed out of a rifle I think that's going to be the answer.

You may not care about any of that because you intention might be to just sling lead at the range. And if so you can disregard.

Looking for something for everything from coons and possums up to hogs at up to 100 yds. Not even concerned if the hogs are DRT.

If you don't reload and you are looking for the quietest and least expensive platform the answer is clearly a .300blk Ruger American bolt gun. If you are looking for just hearing safe I would do the AR platform they are just louder than a bolt gun suppressed because the action has to cycle. .300blk simply because subsonic ammo is readily available.
