Who still uses one. I still love them. Wouldn't be good for slow rolling in deeper water maybe but in shallow water with stumps, brush tops, and weeds I'd rather use one than any other spinnerbait out there. I can't tell you how many times I have made a buddy I was fishing with on some pond, slough or creek, have to break down and ask if they could borrow one of mine because I was wearing bass out with a Sally. I have the best luck typically with white and copper blades.

I know I've got a chartreuse and a white one in the tackle box. Been using them since I was a kid.

I've still got at least two that are probably 40 years old.

Those are deadly in a creek or small river.

You don't want to fish the Mobile Causeway without several. I first saw them in the late 60's with Uncle Josh Pork Frog. They really screwed them up when they changed the hook. Thank God they returned to the old one. There are several alterations Locals do to them to help catch more and bigger fish. My fave is Blk/Chart. Bruiser is crab imitation.

Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends!

If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

Sallies are great baits. The #4 Bruiser sally with a white twin tail trailer, is the absolute best, day in day out bait that you can throw in brackish water in the SE US. I've caught truckloads of bass on them from the rivers and marshes of LA all the way over to the rivers on the east coast of GA. If I had to pick only one bait to carry to a delta type area and my life depended on catching a good limit of bass, that's what I'd have tied on. Another bonus to throwing them in tidal rivers is that a redfish will swim 50 yds out of his way to hit one too!

That's pure blasphemy Perch. I dont have a clue what your talking about. We've never made any alterations or modifications to them that would make them more effective. rolleyes

Absolute causeway crusher. The bruiser sally that is.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

My phone screen does not always work right, usually a lot of misspelled words....

Dang straight. I've won a lot of money tossing that #4 bruiser around eel grass on that Mobile causeway.

Don't go to the Warrior River without one.
