Our land floods pretty bad and it has just now dried up enough to get a disk in the ground, but with the incoming rain it will more than likely put us at the end of June at best getting something in the ground.

You are only planting to provide food that will help the deer and get them accustomed to eating on your property. I broadcast soybeans and corn with the iron clays. If you want to save money, plant feed grade seeds. Just seed heavy. Thomas Jefferson. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. Life is too short to only hunt and fish on weekends! If being a dumbass was fatal some of you would be on your death bed!

Obviously if you’re trying to benefit your deer then planting earlier is better but there’s plenty of time to plant. Wish it was hunting season.....year round

BUT this year I'm going to plant soybeans after the 4th of July. I'M hoping they make it and last on into bow season. Maybe I will get lucky.
