I love looking at these type projects, especially the stitch and glue skiffs. One day I hope to tackle one of these projects.

I thought you were a LEO? Everyone knows they don't get spare time. If they are off they are working a security gig somewhere trying to make ends meet. Seriously, that is beautiful.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Nope not LEO, criminal defense attorney actually, not retired either, I’ll probably have to work half a day on the day of my funeral.

I’ve built a couple of pirogues years ago. 20 years ago I built a cedar strip canoe when my youngest son was 2 years old. He now likes to do woodwork and stated that he wanted us to build a canoe, so I said “as soon as turkey season is over we will build each of us one.” This will be his and his wife’s canoe. We will be starting mine in a week or so, just as soon as we glass the outside of his and we can remove it from the form.
Thanks for the compliments guys.

Yes he is only 3 months old, but just might be the smartest dog I’ve ever owned. I’m training him using German commands ( I’ve read your comments regarding German commands and I agree) so that I won’t offend any snowflakes, or unruly clients, when I tell him to “watch” them or to “bark” at them.

That is one strange looking lab! He is isn’t he! He loves to retrieve, haven’t had him in the water yet. I’m dreading the force-fetch he LOVES to bite. I had several to choose from and I narrowed it down to three. The lady let them out of the pen and he ran straight to me and bit me, I knew then that he was after my heart and we would get along just fine!

That looks really nice! Can't wait to see the finished product. Nice pup too. The ears crack me up. They look huge at that age.

I'd wait till he is 18 months to start bite training though. He can work on a tug rope now. I still have a puppy sleeve somewhere, I'll look.
