I finally saw it with my own eyes. I had a medium super partially drawn out, filled, and capped in a 10 day period. I’ve always read about others getting boxes filled fast but I had a couple of strong hives pile in the honey the past week. Another hive was close to capping and they started with no drawn frames on their box. Snow white frames are sweet to see. Had to add supers again today. Blooms are disappearing at the farm but I hope they get one more filled in the next couple of weeks.
Installed a swarm on 4/27 that I caught in the middle of nowhere at the hunting club. Added a second deep to it today with the first one completely full. Even my little softball size swarm that I thought would not make it filled a nuc and I put them in a 10 frame box today.
