Out of curiosity. I lease in Baldwin County. Do you mind stating cost per acre and what county/counties you lease RMS property.

Ours for last year (2017-2018) was $8.25/acre. Proposal for 2018-2019 is $8.75/acre. Thanks!

Just got out of an RMS leased club. Sounds about right, although they're one of the cheaper large companies to lease from nowadays. Rayonier is more expensive, plus they went from $85/acre to $110/acre for food plots this year. RMS never charged us for food plots as long as we were within reason on our acreage.

Have you tried Google?

My old club is RMS land,we've been leasing it for 30 years, the last year I was in the club the lease was less than $7/acre in Conecuh county and that was 3 years ago,I heard they were going to a $7.50/acre minimum on their land this year

Ours had a 6% increase this year. Forester has already informed us of another 6% next year. At 5500 acres it is equating to around $2600 increase per year. At what point do you say "Uncle"?

Keeping it now. We haven’t gone up on dues in about 5 years, but we may have to go up a little to cover this increase.

Wow, I guess we had the lowest increase of those replies. Good thing they do a lot to improve the wildlife habitat.... sarcasm.

Don't lease from RMS, but I'm in a lease with a few guys on Rayonier property. Our lease went up this year too. That number sounds about par for the course this year.

Turkeymaster, you don't happen to hunt in the Pigeon Creek area? I hunted there for years. Names, Jimmy Dorman, Johnny Woods, Leland Simms sound familiar?

I knew them all , Jimmy Dorman passed away a few years ago. Leland leases some land in the loop. I m sure Johnny Wood has also passed away. Who are you OLTimer??
