You think about what our traditional hunting scopes are zoom wise, vast majority are in the 3X-5X range and this is double the top end of common. I think that's awesome.

Yeah im not edjucated on scopes to be honest. I just bought me a 300 win mag and i need a good scope for deer hunting on it. any suggestions? im looking to keep it under 1k
Georgia Football..Acts like Bama but has a trophy case like South Carolina.

both. ranges are between 150-beyond. mostly hunt powerlines and big cutovers

I think ideally the perfect scope would be up to a 15x magnification however if your like me, I like to be up close and personal.
Only accurate rifles are interesting.

Some folks need/want them for pushing limits. Got a buddy carrying a .375 to 3100 yards. I can only get ~ 2000 out of my setup. Need to put on a 40 min. base to go further.
I'd like to see a 3.5-30 or 35 x56 myself.

Shooting a rock milled at 30".
Gun is custom 7mm SAUM
Shoot a silhouette at over a mile. I've heard those SAUMs are well liked for distance shooting. Is your range there in Holly Pond? My girlfriends family live in the Rock Springs area not far from you.
