Chased birds all afternoon. One bird took us for a tour of our property. Gobbled real good but every set up he cricled in away from the barrel. Found another one with three hens in a cut over. Got him to 40 yards and I miss. Going after them again in the morning.

Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been MIA, works been crazy. This afternoon was my first chance to get out so far. No luck but out of the 6 cameras that I checked five of them had longbeards on them. I’ll be out and after them first thing tomorrow morning.

Congratulations and good job! Only hunted opening day with no luck. I have been working everyday since. Going to go out tomorrow and try to get it done. Hoping to make it up to Coffeeville at the end of the week to see if I can get on that old bird that gave me fits last year. Y’all keep hammering them.

I should have 2 on the board but have moved too early twice. The food plot I was set up on this morning I had one fire off over a hill then walk off with hens. After an hour of hearing nothing I move to edge of a cut over where I call up 7 Jakes. I decide to head to work. While walking out through my first set up I walk up on a longboard. Should’ve stayed put. I’ll learn some day. Going after them again in the morning. Congrats to all on the kills.

How's the hunting going? Slowed down a bit in my neck of the woods.

Finally gonna get back after them tomorrow morning! Getting good reports so hopefully I can get a couple more scored this week.

Alight our birds didn't gobble last week but they should be getting fired up now.

Fosko if you need a hand with that Coffeeville bird let me know and we'll go tag team him. I'm in Washington County.

Got it done this morning. That's 3. I need to cull this one though. He was kinda small. But a lot of fun.

Not much time left fellas! I'll get around to posting some after we get back from Oklahoma in a couple weeks. I've killed a couple decent birds this season just been working a lot of night shifts and haven't posted anything except the one from opening day.
