Which did you get? I have dukes and z-traps. They both work good but I like the push/pull trigger on the z-traps.

What do y’all do to prep the traps? Dye, paint?? You don't have to do anything to prep DP traps. They're ready to when you get them.

As a kid I caught hundreds of coins with a hand drill, a nail and a dime. I sold them to a couple guys that raised coin hounds for training purposes for $5-10 each How'd you do that? Drill into the base of a tree, hammer nail into hole at angle, then stick a shiny dime in the bottom of hole?

I put them out for 3 nights last week. I caught 14 and had one trap stolen by a coon.
Baited with marshmallows and corn. Gonna add some clam juice to the mix next time.

Some co-ops carry them. Online usually has good prices. Be sure to study up on the trapping rules. There’s some requirements in AL that you might not think of.
I’m hoping to do a little coon trapping this weekend
