I’m sure we have a bunch of turkeys hunters in and around Shelby county and I was wondering if y’all would like have a little post season get together. I’ve got a couple of ideas of where we could have it but just trying to see how much interest there would be. I’d like to meet some of y’all and talk turkey after the season winds down. I’m going to check and see if Mayer Insurance will sponsor the event and do some giveaways for us

I tried turkey hunting that place but I had to head north and west to get on some birds.

Nothing firm yet doc. I’m thinking that we could reserve a party room somewhere. Maybe Jim N Nicks in alabaster. It sounds like we could have 10-15 folks. The month of May is slammed for me but I was thinking sometime in June.

Doc, I’ve been moving into a new house this week so I’ve been slammed but I did talk to someone at Oak Mt and she told me for a crowd of around 20 people a pavilion is $56 a day. Not bad at all.

Assuming it's allowed, we'll probably drink that much in beer the 1st 10 minutes!

Well, I figured out that after I moved into this new house I don’t have time to plan crap! If somebody else wants to take the ball and run I pass the torch.
