GO AWAY!!!!!! there are no fish on Lake Martin..... grin

That cold snap slowed them down a lil bit but we have been hammering the spots with a Zoom motoroil/chartreuse tail worm mini carolina rigged with 1/0 hook and single split shot 12in up line. Spinnerbait bite is great right now too and will only improve as water warms back up. Buzzbaits fished near structure in early morning are killer.

Shad are starting to spawn so keep a big spoon, #5 Mepps, or 3/4oz chrome rattletrap rigged on a rod you can throw a long ways and keep an eye out for the bait schools on main river channel and you can easily get on some really good stripe/hybrid action.

I'd say 90% of our fish in past 2 weeks have been in 12-20ft with the exception of rocky points and they were holding in 4-12ft. Caught several on square bill crankbaits lightly ticking the bottom on retrieve. The lake is at full pool or mighty close to it now so a lot of the structure that's been out of the water is fishable now. From now til Memorial Day when the seadoo/wakeboat mafia shows up is my favorite time of year to fish Lake Martin.

House is south of Real island marina

We troll around Kowliga bridge, in the channel in front of Willow Pointe, and near the power lines by the dam mostly

Nice. My in laws place is real close to real island marina. I’ll be out there in a black aluminum Lowe bass boat. Maybe I will see you out there Saturday

No, super slow striper fishing

Didn’t even mark many fish on screens

I think they’re still north up river

Up closer to alexander city crappie seem to still be hitting good in the deep tops up in the mouths of creek channels took home 26 fishing in 17 foot water jigging 6 foot down under a slip float wore em out in the 2 hours I had to fish saturday. Nothing seemed to be biting on main part of lake.
