Just pulled up to the gate. No rain on the radar but it sure is coming down. Looks like I get a case of the wet ass today. Good luck guys.

I struck out again. Had one gobble once on the roost and once after he hit the ground going away. I hate turkeys.

Heard 6 at daylight, but the rain came and shut them up. Started checking fields and found one with 2 hens, but no luck getting him to come in. Was just about to call it a day at 10 when I decided to check one more. Before I could get close enough to check the field, a bird gobbled. I sat down and a few seconds later I could see him about 150 yards out. I soft yelled to him and he answered. I then watched him walk back and forth clucking for about 30 minutes. All I would do was click back to him. He finally had enough, folded those wings, and started heading my way. I was set up on a small finger that fed down to this field, there was a ditch that I ranged at 62 yards that I thought he might walk along. After about 10 minutes, he did just that. He came down the side of the ditch and I let the Longbeards fly. He folded up and never flopped. I ranged him lying on the ground at 57 yards. He was a true limb hanger!! 21 Pounds 10 Inch Beard 1 3/8 Inch Spurs
