Hey, i was just wondering who is from this area and Turkey hunts. I'm new to this sport and want to hunt more before season goes out. Do any of you hunt Fort Rucker?

When I lived down there, I killed a couple of turkeys in the Geneva State Forest.
I realize that's a stroll from Dothan but it's a nice place.

I'm in the Dothan area also. I really want to get back out before the season is over. I have only been told this info from folks that have hunted it and live in the area but Ft. Rucker has about 50K acres so you might want to try out there. Give yourself some time to cover a lot of ground and you're liable to find a bird down there. From what I understand, in the past there have been a good many birds killed on that place. Dr. B

Awesome man id check out midway and other sources you can prolly find plenty of stuff on sale right now. I bought a 140$ vest last year for 70$.
Only accurate rifles are interesting.
