The shows have completely different names, and I don't think you can trademark an activity like shooting the chit in a barber shop. If so, the few barber shops left are in trouble.

I don't think James has enough education to come to that conclusion on his own so obviously he has a lawyer or lawyers telling him what his legal opinion is while they send him a bill for their services. You know. Come to think of it. I can remember my old barber Joe cutting my hair when I was about 5 or 6 yrs old and he always had a bunch of guys sitting around his shop watching sports, if they were on, and just shooting the bull. The ONLY thing that Lebron could have any success in a legal battle was the "Shop Talk" name of the show. Lebron stated that he did not like the fact that Alabama was doing a show similar to his and based in a Barber Shop. James seems to think that he owns the concept of talking about sports while sitting in a Barber Shop which is asinine. Alabama's legal department changed the name to avoid any possible trademark disputes and told James to phuck off in regards to format.

It was the smart thing to do.
