Saw a report where a banded HB was caught and had been banded two days before in La. 310 miles in two days. Pretty amazing. When they get to full strength, I usually feed 15-20 here at my place. odocoileus 14 point Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 6,724 Selma	Mom and Dad will have 30-40 flying around in late summer. It's like a warzone in the backyard with them chasing each other. They will also buzz you if you get too close to the feeder. Also great to watch them give the cats hell.

I can even hold my hand to the feeder and they will perch on it to feed. Love hummingbirds! Cooking wild game is my specialty 👌
