They are great bows. Honestly, I like the way my Sage shoots better than a lot of custom bows I've had. They don't have the cosmetic finish but my Sage is dead in the hand and quiet...that's the main things I want in a bow. I have a Mountain Muffler string on it. Aint nothing wrong with a compound but for me a trad bow is adaptable to hunting situations, but I have to practice all year..lol

treemydog 8 point T Joined: Apr 2016 Posts: 1,554 Elmore County	Get a AMS reel and a fish arrow and hit a few backwaters... killing fish at short range is fairly easy, and if you catch the carp spawn right, it's a target-rich environment. It's a great way to get a little live action with a tradbow, and you don't have to be the best shot to wade-shoot carp at 3 - 5 steps. I've got a nice one I'll sell you that is just sitting on a shelf in my closet.... You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

But they do tend to look away if it's windy. Guess they don't like seeing that much "greatness". Learning to shoot the recurve is teaching me things about how to shoot my compound better, which is making shooting my compound more fun.
