- Kid runs from the police
- They follow him with a helicopter
- He wasn't in his grandmother's yard when they found him
- He was in some chinese man's yard and was about to bust into that guy's house when police arrived
- He ran back to his grandmother's yard
- Ran towards police officer's with something in his hands
- Police shot him 20 times
- Turns out it was a cell phone

BLM sees it as another "innocent" black life taken by police. I see it as a tragic incident but 100% preventable if he would've stopped, listened to the commands of the police, and showed his hands clearly. What say you?

Shot 20 times? I thought they only issued rubber bullets in Kalifornistan.

If I were a cop out there I would have a very cheap street corner pistol with me, just in case.

It’s unfortunate that there is a subset in our culture who defends their “rights” to run from authorities, not follow their commands, and be overall disrespectful of others property rights.

Most of these incidents would be completely avoided if people would follow the commands of the officer. The time to fight the law is not on the street. It’s in the court room.

That subset culture is a Warrior society today and that's what they are taught from birth or soon after. To follow the laws of a civilized society doesn't fit into this culture or register in their minds as being the right thing to do so we can expect this kind of behavior and the kind of reaction when they pay the penalty for such behavior

How many legitimately disrespectful people (especially young men) do you know that had a good father, to tell them right from wrong, and knock their azz down a peg when they messed up bad? Yeah me either.....

Whats so hard about it is that it doesn't go along with the culture rules they have laid out for their own society.

The people leading the street talk are telling the public that the police are saying that they thought the cell phone was an AK-47. I doubt that is the case, but don't let facts get in the way of a good opportunity to protest.

Exactly. Don't run. Don't make any sudden movements to your waist or pockets. Drop whatever you have in your hands and get on the ground. Yeah, you're gonna be arrested but at least you won't be staring up at the church ceiling from a box.

Too bad this "great father" thought it was OK to go around smashing windows and trying to destroy and steal other peoples stuff. If he was such a great dad, why wasn't he at home reading his kid a bedtime story, praying with him, or tucking him in at night? Or how about just staying home and being an upstanding man instead of prowling the neighborhood up to nothing good. Of course the story around the hood will be that this son lost his dad because he was murdered by bigoted, white cops. The fact he was committing crimes and trying to elude capture will be conveniently omitted. What is needed is someone of color, preferably a whole block, from the neighborhood to have the balls to say the truth like "wait just a minute. We called the police about this man. They came to our aid. And had this man had not been doing what he was doing and had stopped when commanded, he would still be alive." I'll be as rich as Warren Buffet when that happens anywhere.
