Haven’t seen it personally but my parents took my kids and they all enjoyed it, wouldn’t mind taking a trip up myself sometime.

The family went the opening weekend of the Ark. Plan for a whole day at each. I couldn't fathom doing both in one day. Do the creation museum 1st. The next day at the Ark. The ark will drop your jaw. One of the best vacations our family has ever been on.

This, and then go take in a baseball game across the river. Good stuff.

The Ark Encounter is located in the beautiful Northern Kentucky area, right off I-75, halfway between the large metropolitan cities of Cincinnati and Lexington. Dozens of hotels and restful places to stay are only a brief drive away from the life-size Noah’s Ark. You might want to consider staying closer to Cincinnati so that you can conveniently visit the Ark’s sister attraction the Creation Museum during your trip.

On the same trip you could easily visit the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and see our earliest human ancestor "Lucy" https://www.cmnh.org/lucy

Couldn’t agree more with jmudler. We (myself, wife and our 3 kids) went about this time last year. Hard to fathom the Arc was built without modern machinery and equipment, especially after laying eyes on it and walking through it. Prepare for any type of weather. It was sunny and around 70 when we went in and 40’s, wind blowing 20 mph and raining when we came out of the Arc 7 hours later. An awesome experience doesn’t begin to describe it. Main advice I could give would be don’t rush through it, take your time and soak it in. I hope we can go back in the near future. Very eye opening experience

My wife and I went couple weeks ago. The structure and architecture are something to see, but the fundamentalist idea that the world is only 6000 years old, and that all of the dinosaurs were killed during the flood is a stretch for me. Especially since there are dinosaurs on the Arc. Different for sure
