If SB61 passes, SB282 is for vending Machines for Agricultural products sold by the pound. Such as corn, oats, wheat, barley, etc... Just stop by Grub Mart and fill your bucket with corn on the way to hunt. - Introduced by Dial and Whatley, same two that introduced SB61 smile

It's not a Passion, it's an Obsession. That's what I tell my wife, but she promptly informs it's a disease to which is incurable.

Think you mean SB21 but man if those both pass those vending machines would be a hell of an investment put up in places like the automatic ice machines no telling how many times ive missed the feed store hours to buy corn... you know for my squirrel watching feeders and stuff... 24/7 corn vending in a rural town would make a killing.

What's there to legalize? There's already corn dispensers all over Alabama.

Ahhh. That makes sense. The kind that isn't bait. Because there IS a difference. A big one...

I looked into that about a year ago and it costs about $50K to get one of those corn vending machines set up. That's just for the machine set up. You still have to have a place to do it. Gota sell a lot of corn to make money off of that. Set up costs may have changed since then but last I checked it was high.

Setting them up with the "Twice the Ice" machines would make sense.

Saw one in yazoo city MS last year on the way to duck camp...we stopped to investigate and I don't remember the price but it was sold by the gallon and stupid expensive. Gone before season opened this year or removed to another location

Yeah I looked into it myself. I can think of only a few places that you may be able to make a profit in a half way decent time frame, but what if they find CWD? That would be all she wrote.

They all were shut down by the state. The state said that they had to be regulated like gas pumps by the weight and measure department.
