In the valley to courtland and east to Trinity it’s early to mid December. Over near Colbert county you’ll get some January and February bred does. Even around courtland where the primary breeding takes place in mid December I’ve collected a March bred deer.

NWALJM 10 point N Joined: Apr 2015 Posts: 3,287 Hartselle, AL	I would venture to guess about Christmas through mid January or so, to be generous. I have hunted more toward Hatton and Mt Hope and that is when they went into rut this past season. That's fairly close to Town Creek.
