no such thing as waterproof leather boots of any kind for very long. If ya need waterproof get rubber boots

My 17" Danner Sharptails have been in water for an hour or more a day for the past 3 weeks while running beaver traps and my feet haven't been wet a single time. I'm rough on everything but especially boots and to say I'm impressed with these is a gross understatement.

I hate rubber boots. Never found a comfortable pair. I got a pair of Keens, 8 years old, still waterproof with the help of mink oil. Of course they ain't snake boots, but those are for pussies.
