How do you know he didn’t accept Christ in his life? Because he didn’t get on the mountain top and scream it. Odds are he didn’t but I don’t know if he did or not and that’s between him and the big guy. He was a brilliant man. God rest his soul. Stop with that nonsense, haven't you figured out that most on here are able to tell you who ends up in hell and who goes to heaven with no problems whatsoever? God actually gets his advice on the subject from them off of here. Much like Saban does in the football forum.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

I respectfully disagree. There are literally thousands of artists, writers, poets, scientists, philanthropists, inventors, composers, doctors etc that have made life better for people on this earth. A lot of these people are not Christians. They are atheist, Buddhist, Hindu and any other religion you can think of. Bingo. I can never understand why people on here are concerned about his after life. Hawking chose his path in life and I respect that. If Hawking was right or wrong, doesn't concern me at all.

This is also the same "brilliant" man who admitted that with the advancement microbiology and the more we have learned about the cosmos that our universe appears to be intelligently designed.
I agree with that statement. I guess I agree with the "Big Bang Theory". Except I believe God said BANG and the world was created. The thing that the people who deny Gods creation is if it wasnt created by him where did it come from? The human mind cannot fathom something from nothing. A tree grows from a seed. For the Big Bang to have occurred as they think there had to be something for it to form from, so prior to the Big Bang where did those materials come from? This reminds me of a joke my pastor told me a long time ago. These 3 scientists (actually geneticists) were having a conversation with God. The 3 men told God that they appreciated all He had done for mankind, but He wasnt needed anymore. The 3 said that they had mastered genetics and could create entirely new species and bring back extinct species. God smiled at them and said "I hate to hear that but why dont we have one last test". With that God reached down into the soil and then opened his hand and an entirely new bird flew out of his hand. The 3 men smiled at each other and then one of them started to reach down into the soil. At that point God said, "No. Stop, get your own dirt".
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

I couldn't care less who this guy is or what he thought.... but look at it this way:
By y'alls account he's got plenty of company.... Man started using stone tools about 2.5 million years ago. That's when The Stone Age started. Jesus was real late to the party. Like 2.498 million years late.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

damn at the hypocrites on this thread. One of the most brilliant minds to ever walk this earth has passed on and so many haters on the bandwagon. Hawking was a genius in his field. No question about that. Being brilliant doesn't mean hooey in God's eyes, though. Either you're saved or not. If not then you're going to hell. It's pretty clear cut.

damn at the hypocrites on this thread. One of the most brilliant minds to ever walk this earth has passed on and so many haters on the bandwagon. Yet he thought order arrived from chaos. Not very brilliant in my mind.

hawking had a sense of humor about his condition and the cosmos. he did, not, however, have a sense of humor about God; he did not believe in God, and said so many, many times. does that make him less of a theoretical physicist? absolutely not. his dream was to come up with a unified theory, the great grail of all such theorists. he failed in this regard, as all will fail when confined to man's terms ...
