It's hard to believe the 93' blizzard was 25 years ago today but I was 11yo and we got snowed in at my grand dad's house with all my cousin's and we had a blast! Good memories but it was hard on a lot of folks. only time I ever saw thunder snow.

I had one of my first dates with my wife. I was living in the country then and literally drove home by gauging the middle of the road by fence lines on the pastures and tree lines. It was bad enough that even her very conservative parents offered to let me sleep on the couch. Thankfully, there was no other traffic doing the same thing coming the other way.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I was at a bar in Montgomery called Paradise Theater. Headed home early when we saw how bad it was. I remember it thundering and lightening and blinding snow.

My dad was out of town, Indianapolis if i remember correct.
We got it pretty good in Tuscaloosa. No power for days.
I took lead as a 9 year old and kept a fire burning for heat and grilled a bunch of Omaha steaks on propane grill for several days for my mom and little brother
Remember it well. my dad worked at a hospital so he was gone the whole time but I remember him telling me that I need to be the man of the house while he was gone . im the oldest of 3. I remember really taking pride in that responsibility. I had a blazing fire going for days.

Me and Travis were living in Stevenson, at some apartment complex. We were 5. Mom tied plastic bags around our legs to keep our feet and clothes some what dry, We used socks as gloves.

at a church camp in winston county. no power but plenty of fire wood. drove home to birmingham a couple of days later with the family in my little two-door ford escort pony. front wheel drive made it just fine. our neighborhood in south east lake had not lost power, and never did. four foot drifts on the west side of the house. our boys went sledding down 85th street hill ...
