Finally killed one this morning. Still not much gobbling. Maybe things start heating up around here soon. I’ll get him posted on the contest thread later. He’s a skinny little ridge running south AL turkey. I guess I need some official aldeer turkey contest scales to kill one over 20 lbs!

Glad you got one. I need to get some of those scales you speak of. I have a feeling if bama went to certified check stations you'd see a thread about how the weights sure used to be heavier.

Killed a 2 year old this morning. Won’t score great, but it’s points. Four lonely two year olds came to me silent while I was prospecting, only 3 left!

Glad you got another one. I'm gonna get to hunting again next week. Kids are on spring break so I'm spending time with them. I'll start my out of state trips a week from Monday.

Guys I’m having a bad year . Hunted hard all week had 3 in range and something went wrong all three times. I did call up one for my 7 yr old nephew Friday morning and he got his first turkey. I’ll try and help the team before the year is out but I’m limited on time I have left now.

I killed another one but I'm not gonna post it yet. It only scored in the low 50's and I should have upgrades before season is out.

Nice. I hope to reduce the population a bit more in next few days.

Killed another river hills ridge runner this morning. Them hills been hard on him, he had lost a toe at some point. I’ll get him posted up later. Probably gonna shut it down at our primary hunting tract - just hadn’t seen the activity we normally see. Except to try to get my 9 year old another one before the seasons out. I hope to get an upgrade in KY, though.
