I ah e a name suggestion for “y’all” looks like “Team of One.” 🙂

I'm good with whatever the majority wants. Taking a kid in the a.m. to a great spot. With a little lu k #1 will hit the ground

I have seen a bunch of good ones on here over the years, I am good with whatever the majority decides.

I wish that was the case with me. I'm on some new land this year. It was covered up with turkeys during deer season. Now I'm having to scrounge to find tracks. I may struggle a little this year

Wish I could be hunting, tied up for the opening weekend. I won't be able to get into the turkey woods until the weekend of 3/24. Good luck to all of the Team 13 guys that can get out there!!

I’m glad somebody’s in the game. Our birds are not talking at all. I can only hope the groups break up soon. Gobblers are still bunched up

I heard not a gobble on Saturday morning. Three of us at the club and no one heard a gobble Tweety birds cranked it on up right at daylight and gave me high hopes....early morning had a hawk and a bit later a pileated woodpecker get going........but even they couldn't yank a gobble outta our crabby old tight lipped gobs. I set up and cold called some on a field or two, nada.....zip. Wind got on up and I packed it in about noon.

I have alot of property I can hunt. 98% of them are dead. Found one hollow on a 4000 tract they were gobbling in. 3 other people on the same property didn't hear a peep. Super weird year but I'll take it

Congrats ridgestalker! I did hear 3 different birds last Saturday morning, a whopping total of 6 gobbles from them. I got some hens fired up close by me, and was encouraged there for a bit. Unfortunately the closest gob to me ended up having hens head his way then shut up before I could really get in the game. No gobbles heard after 7:15. Set up and cold called in a few spots, nada. Another tough morning.

For the 3rd year in a row, I missed a turkey today. Two 2 year olds ran 200 yards to me crawling behind a strutter decoy and I wifffffffeeeeedddddd. I'm sick to my stomach. I hunted all freaking day and ended like that. Oh well..... Will try again tomorrow. Stay at it boys, we got alot of ground to make up

Don’t feel too bad hunterturf, I think that’s happened to just about everyone at some time or another.

Well, gonna go try it in the AM. Maybe I will hear a gobble. This season has been rough! I have heard only 8 gobbles all season. That is eight gobbles, not gobbleRs. Been in the woods and heard nothing more times than the birds have talked. Haven’t even laid eyes on a strutter, not even glassing the power line and gas line on our property. You can also see some adjoining properties, and nothing in their fields either. Always see them strutting in the neighbor’s pasture, not this year though. Weekends I have been able to go have been less than ideal, cold, stormy or wet, or all the above. One guy has been during the week when the weather was better and heard some birds talk, but they are few and shutting it down quick, nothing after about 7:00 or so.

Well at least I saw a strutter in the neighbor’s pasture last Saturday. Never heard a gobble. Out of the country for this weekend and most of next week due to work. But plan to hunt next Friday and Saturday, hope the weather cooperates and the birds talk. We show zero points?? Has no one posted up their birds on the score thread?

Well fellas, hate I wasn't able to contribute to the team. I am usually good for at least one, and maybe two, birds a year. Worse turkey season I can recall, by far. Can actually count the number of gobbles I heard on our property with just two hands....10 gobbles. Was in the woods a total of 8 mornings, and heard gobbles on only two of them. Called up a jake the last weekend and was so frustrated that I took a shot at him. Thought I had whiffed on him, and my hunting buddy took a look in the direction he flew and reported he did not see him. We called it a clean miss and went on to other spots. I was in that same area, just below the knob, and found a pile of feathers two days later. It appears I didn't anchor him but he died and we didn't get him, I really hate it. Just overall a horrible season. Can't get out to hunt Kansas this year, too much going on with a home about to go on the market while working on the remodel of another one.......no time and no free capital. Good luck to the rest of the Team, sorry I drug you guys down.
