For years I have had big flocks in green patches during winter, but the last few years have not seen a one.Does not seem to impact spring hunting though so no complaints. Same really but did see 9 hens one sit this year and a pic of some in full strut on December 20 go figure.

I have no idea where they go in the winter but we rarely see any during deer season. They almost always show back up in the spring. Thank the good lord!!!

Thanks for the replies. I can assure you guys that I am not that "Chuck". If I had his $$ I wouldn't be worried about turkey sightings in Cherokee County. lol . Thanks again and good luck to all of you this year. It's just been a strange year for our turkey. Some other guys who hunt near here have said the same thing. We just quit seeing birds around Christmas for the first time in years.
