My first cruise coming in May. We just kept it cheap and simple by doing Cozumel. It's a 30th high school reunion. For you seasoned cruisers, what are some do's and dont's (things to do, things to skip?

If you plan on drinking you better take a long check book ( on the boat)

I love the rut. The woods are like a bunch of roided up meatheads fighting over a girl.

Carlos and Charlie's is not for the meek or easily embarrassed. Think Spring Break and Girls Gone Wild on Steroids. My wife and I, along with a nice couple from Kentucky who were also on their honeymoon, went in there because someone said they had good tacos and after a day on the beach everyone was hungry. We were there about 30 minutes waiting on a table. All I can say is it was entertaining. but the women didn't want to stay for some reason. I was amazed at how far and how accurately the bartenders could project a shot of tequila through a syringe towards a female flashing her chest accessories.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Senior frogs is fun too. Ride an escalator up and fall down stairs back down. Don’t shop on the main streets, go a few streets back everything is half the price. Check out the Chedrowie or whatever the grocery store is called. It’s open air and really neat. The Hard Rock Cafe is pretty good. The duty free zone is neat.
I used to go every year for several years scuba diving. We would stay a week or so each time.
I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

If you SCUBA dive...that is one of the best places to go....there are a few independent operators who will pick you up at the port, or give you directions to the marina...we use a girl name Alison at scubawithalison.com anf have a great time every time we go. MUCH better than the cattle call trip the cruise line offers. She does intro sessions so you don't have to be certified. Top notch gear and very close supervision....and very reasonably prices. Have fun no matter what you do!

A bar called 3 1/2 miles out cost several of us a trip to the Coast Guard Doc once we got back underway..

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Didn’t the State Department issue a travel advisory for this part of Messico?

Not sure if they did or not........the Riviera Maya area is, generally, one of the safest parts of Mexico for tourists, but that's not exactly saying a lot. We had a good time a couple of years ago in Playa del Carmen, but I don't know that I'd feel real comfortable going back right now. There have been quite a few cases reported of people being drugged, even while inside their all-inclusive resort (which is typically considered much safer than just venturing out) and getting robbed or blackmailed into paying lots of money to get released by local authorities.
