I have 2 that sucked pretty bad:
1) I worked at an egg farm for *almost* a whole day. Puked about 3 times & decided it wasn't the place for me.
2) Worked at a sheet rock distributor for a little over a year. We delivered and would stage up to 3 floors. We had some boys delivering that were mules of men... I was not one of them. My skinny rump was sucking wind every day until they finally took mercy on me and put me in the warehouse.

From 1995-1998 I worked at US Steel in Bessemer for a demolition contractor (Brandenburg out of Chicago). Brandenburg tore down parts of the steel mill that was no longer a tax write-off for US Steel. My primary job was determining what utilities were “hot” and which were cold, and that ranged from electrical, gas, water, etc. I also had to tie off any utilities from the parts of the mill that was gonna remain that went into the parts we were going to tear down. It was dangerous work - lots of times I had to work 480 VAC 3-phase hot, wearing high voltage gloves, 50’ up in the ceilings of those old mills where it was 3” deep with carbon dust that conducted electricity thru the air due to the carbon. By the grace of God I survived all that. The worst was one summer day in the boiler house... it was 140° in there and I was demo’ing out some electrical stuff, and I got so hot I turned white as a sheet. Thankfully I got out of there before I had a heat stroke.
Jesus... I hope you know Him personally like I do.

Laborer for a roofing company when I was a teenager. I was the mule that toted the shingles up a ladder tp the roof.

Building 500' long chicken house on red clay pads in August and it being 110° in the shade of the post. Rolling in human waist tieing new pluming into old under a house. Staying up 48 hours to get crops in or out ahead of rain. Hauling square bails for a dollar an hour daylight to dark in 100°.

When Russell Corp was downsizing in the USA , my job got cut and I temporarily took a job stapling the tags into shirts. Standing in one place for eight hours stapling tags into shirts is hell on earth

All I got to say is there's a reason you don't see many old roofers or old brick/block mason laborers.
