Might consider this when leaving a tip on the table too. Especially if theyre providing quality attentive service. If theyre doing their best to serve well, thank them with a good tip. These folks have kids they have to feed too. If the Lord has blessed you with plenty, pass a little on. I always pay attention to their workload too. I've seen plenty of waitresses that busting their butts to keep all of their tables happy. Sometimes slow service isn't their fault.

I was asked for my birthdate today buying a filet knife. I asked if she got yelled at and cussed for asking that, and she said, “more than you’d ever think”. I chuckled and thought about this place. I gave her my birthdate, and probably would’ve let her see my license if she asked, because my daughter was adamant about having fish for dinner.
People overreact. I am almost famous for it. Try to be nice. On the other hand, if your job consist of taking up people’s time and somewhat digging into their privacy, you should expect a pissed off customer or 2. It’s just how it is. If you don’t like it, wear a smile until you find another job.
This is Aldeer! The place people come to vent their frustrations and completely change their stance a few minutes later...

Most cashiers could care less to ask you for any ID for anything there just doing what there told to do ive come to the point where im not suprised if i had to show ID to buy a shaving razor. To many people are sue happy and god forbid a kid buy some peroxide or a cold compress and make some kinda bomb or something out of it all youd hear on CNN is why wasnt this kid IDed to buy medical grade chemicals. I also try not to shop at places that have these policies

I cant figure out what the big deal is about showing your receipt as you exit a store?? If you shop Costco or Sam's you will show your receipt and it doesn't take 10 seconds. If I ever go into any store that asks to see my receipt upon exit I smile and let them see it because I'm usually still looking at it to make sure they charged me right. I think this is a matter of people looking for a reason to get offended like the rest of the world is and what a better excuse than having to show your receipt. What is it?? Do you feel like they are calling you a thief or are you afraid youll be exposed as a thief??
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

Dave Barry once said... “A person who is nice to you, but rude to the waiter, is not a nice person.” I would say that sometimes God speaks to me, but then I might get labeled a crazy person by some folks , but I did have sort of an epiphany the other day... What if people that you meet everyday were actually angels sent by God into your path just to see how you would interact with them? Something I have been working on lately (and it is not easy) is to quite judging people and situations. Trying to be just simply an observer and a student of life instead of a judge and jury of life.

Don't get the respect they deserve. They could very easily be sucking on the government tit and costing us money. Remember that next time you want to be rude to someone "doing their job".
Poor service at a restaurant, rudeness, laziness, etc doesn't get a pass but someone actually performing their job up to standards always gets a smile from me . . . Even if I don't necessarily agree with it (Walmart Greeter) Very True.

Hebrews 13:2 ESV - Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Hebrews 13:2 NKJV - Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. P.S. I have failed this many of time.

The person checking receipts also helps the store safeguard against cashiers who would let their family and friends walk out with extra. Yep. It's called, "sliding". We busted a few of minority, Democrats doing it at the Clanton store.
