Looking for suggestions on a new scope for my 6.5 creedmoor. I really like German #4 crosshairs. Whats everyones thoughts? This will be a hunting rifle set up.

Meopta Meopro in what ever magnification range you prefer. Their #4 reticle is close enough in the center that you can actually use the heavy lines to bracket a deer in low light when you can't see the center cross hairs...Others I have seen are really wide and require more guesstimation

My uncle has a Kahles with a No 4 that I love. Unfortunately, they have focused on LE and competition scopes so they don't have anything like that anymore. Swarozski has a Z3 3-10x 42 that would fit the bill.

There are some good deals on some Leica scopes over on 24hr campfire.

The best hunting reticle I’ve ever used is the Trijicon Accupoint post.

I would also recommend the Meopta #4. Like GunDoc stated it has a tighter and heaver reticle. If you can find an older Conquest with the #4 it will be just as the Meopta. The #4's that are wide and thin are useless IMO.

Like a Meopta too.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I just bought a rifle with a meopta meopro 4-12x50 on it with the #4 reticle and really like it so far. I wasn't sure I would like it at first because I've never owned a scope with this type reticle and wasn't sure how it would perform in low light but as gundoc said the heavy lines of the reticle are close enough that you can pretty well be dead on even if you can't see the center cross hairs.

The meopta #4 reticle is the best I've seen. Swaovski Z3 models have a good #4 as well but the other Swaraovski models are thinner and I'm not a big fan.

Look for used Kahles, Schmidt Bender, or Swarovski. All have lifetime warranties

I borrowed a buddy's scope while waiting for my vortex to come in. The scope I borrowed was a bps pro staff occulus. Took it to the range and shot it out to 750 yards. Was impressed with this $299 scope. If I hadn't already dropped good money on the vortex, I would have gone straight to BPS and bought one!

Meopta Meostar is the way to go with the German #4 reticle.

Im a big fan of the Votrex vipers and HD's but the Meoptas are very nice as well. I will be looking for a few optics here soon myself to put on a 308 and 6.5.
