Cut trails in thru it and leave it, great cover, why you want to remove it?

bush hog it it's just grass. you won't be getting rid of it any time soon, though. The runners go about 8 feet underground.

Might as well have kudzu on your green fields. You can only hope to contain it by bushhogging.

It's like wisteria or kudzu, the only way to get rid of it is to move.

Start fertilizing it and encouraging it, create a business plan reliant on your bamboo harvest...it'll be dead in a week.

Tanker of gly. Napalm, Dig out the ground 10 feet deep and remove that. Gly and napalm again.

Then do it all again in a year. Even Harvey Updyke can't kill bamboo.

If you have a small amount and no rocks use an axe to cut runners and pull all out. Time comsuming, but works.
If you can't do it hire you some illegals mexicanos.

Bush hog it. Let it grow back to about a foot tall and bushhog again. Do this 3-4 times and it will eventually die. Don't let it get too big or you will have to start the process over.
