I agree but its time for a new set anyway. Difference is, I sure like our driver better than yours.

Maybe so, but they still have a National Championship to play for in a few weeks.

Bammers don't have meltdowns, they have Sabear; and national championships. 13,000 national championships to be exact and they're looking to add a few more this year.

They are leaving nonetheless.

And I doubt ANY of us know all the specifics of the criteria that their departures are based on.

The only one that I am glad to see leave either of the two staffs is Roof. And I don't harbor any ill-feelings toward the man. I just didn't care for his Defense.

i think the coaching movement in this state is a direct reflection of how good the programs are and how good the HC's are at picking coordinators. in order for the revolving door of coaching to work, the door has to revolve with the best talent.

It's pretty obvious that the Auburn coordinators are leaving because the wheels are falling off. Just look at how far thy fell this season. It's a good indication of what kind of coaches they really are without their one year wonders on the roster. Hell, Gus is taking a considerable pay cut to get out and Roof, well I think we all agree that his defense is horrible. Ole Chiz will be on the hot seat next year, you just watch. This is very reminiscent of the Tubby era after he had his undefeated season.

On the other hand, Bama's coordinators have had more than just ONE good year and now they are going out on a high note. Kirby and Jim are better recruiters, better developers of talent and just better coaches. Their records speak for themselves. I wish them well and feel confident that Saban will hire replacements that will keep things rolling.
