How does the "call and get a permit to hunt with lights/calls at night" system work in regard to moving around to other counties?

Is the permit specific to my land or lease, or the county, or is it good for statewide?

I’m pretty sure it’s specific to your land.

I had to furnish the land owners and location of the property to get mine last year.
It's easy to get, just email your district office with the location and reason for the permit and they send the permit and you sign and send back.

OK, thanks. I may contact Montgomery or my district office -- follow my own suggestions! -- and find out. I've always believed, too, that it's specific to you and/or whoever's listed on the permit and the land.

I just got our hog and coyote permit to hunt over bait and at night. It is land specific and you must also provide a copy of your lease or a written permit from the landowner.

I called the district office (3) yesterday and gave them the info. Lady said I should hear from the biologist in a couple weeks. Permit was emailed this morning. gun

One of the main things I was wondering about. You can't get a permit in X-county for a tract and then run willy-nilly all over the state saying you're permitted.
