With deer season ending and turkey season a month away I'm exciting about some college baseball. Alabama opens up with a 3 games weekend series with Valparaiso, and Auburn with Longwood. I'm looking forward to Auburn having a good year. Auburns number one pitcher Casey Mize is a big time talent a possible top 10 pick in this years MLB draft

Hope he does well. My wife went to High School with Casey's Dad, so we keep up with him.
I'll even say Wah Eegle when he pitches.

I really hope Auburn has a good year. The Golloway experiment was a disaster. I think Thompson is a good coach and think he can get the job done. Used to have a ball drinking beer and watching from the parking deck. Have to make it back over there for some games.

Shoot, Wallace state baseball is 10 games in! 9-0-1 with a rained out in the 6th tie on 2/6. Yall are right about Thompson (imo). He seems like a good guy and coach. Have been impressed with Coach Bohanon (met him at au camp last year and again at ua in the summer). Love me some baseball season!

I had the pleasure of meeting Thompson right before he kicked his first season off.I had to go speak to the fraternity and he was visiting them all drumming up support for the upcoming season. Talked briefly and he seemed like a really down to earth guy.
