Hoping to get out there this evening. Work has been crazy the past couple weeks, really cramping my hunting game. Good luck!

Saw one giant cane cutter. Nothing else. Back to life all week one last final day Saturday. Good luck to anyone getting after them this week. Stay safe.

Change of plans. Sitting in a slough bed with wateroaks and red oaks in it that backs up to a pine thicket. Waters up in here needs to be another few feet of water to make this spot right.

In a spot I missed a buck last year and this year

None of other spots are panning out. I went on a walk about where hardly anyone if anyone goes. It’s a little finger, wet, and thick. And we will see.

Ended up seeing 5. No shot. Looks like my freezer may go empty this season.

I ain’t seen an animal this evening. Tomorrow my last time to hunt this year. Don’t really have high hopes.

Struck out on wheeler. Overall one of my slower years for public and private land
