Something that always grind my gears... Does anyone make an adjustable single pin where the pin runs east to west? Im the kind of guy that likes to set my single pin for a certain distance and just compensate. Too often I've had too little time to adjust my pins on a deer slipping through on me so I began setting it for a certain distance and compensating with a lot of success. On my HHA, if I aim to shoot at 40 the pin covers the flight path of the arrow. I use my pin as a guide and study where the arrow hits in accordance to my pins.I watch the arrow flight. Anyone else have this problem? I like having the ability to adjust it for different distances but in a hunting set up I like it set and compensating.

One of my SpotHogg TommyHoggs is setup with a 3pin head where 2 of the pins are removed and the single pin that's remaining is running east-west (horizontal). I prefer a single vertical pin setup but I could see it working great for what you're looking for.

I don't quite understand what your saying? Your saying you want a pin that is adjustable for windage or left, right? And leave the elevation set for one yardage and compensate for different yardages?

Im saying I want an adjustable single pin sight that runs horizontally in the sight picture and not vertically - allowing for me to watch the drop of the arrow. A vertical single pin hinders your ability to watch the arrow if it falls below your pin. And yes, I usually set it for thirty yards. Twenty yards and in its about 6 inches high and at 40 about 8 inches low. Takes all the guess work and ranging out of it when you learn 40 yards, you just have to compensate.

I do that with my verticle pin. Since we all practice with our bows and know what our bow does, piece of cake. Call a sight maker and special order OR buy a 3 pin and remove 2 of them

If you're 6 inches high at 40 with a 30 yard pin you ain't doing something right.

Guess I should add that I've killed two 5x5 bulls doing it so if I'm doing something wrong, I don't wanna be right lol
I guessing you failed to see in my comment that's where I aim.

My bad Kodiak. I must have read that wrong. I thought you were aiming dead on with 30 and hitting high not aiming over and letting it drop in.

I didn't know that you could special order things like that. I reckon I could give HHA a call and see if they could turn one about 90 degrees for me.

I'm not sure, that's why I'd call.
