Is it Rocket City Meats? They are the only one close to me that pops up on google, any other places anyone would recommend?

if you dont mind the drive, there is one south of huntsville on 231. Allens Deer processing 256-498-2054. Good prices, vacuum seal everything. If you head south on 231, cross the river bridge and head towards arab. Turn right at the Cherokee ridge sign. You will see signs for the processor there too. Head a short distance down that road, and when the road forks, stay left. As soon as you take that fork there is a sign and a road on your left. That road takes you right to the shop.

Oh, and if you want really good speacialty stuff...there are some Mennonite's in Falkville. A good ways away, and a little pricier. I plan to take a deer to them this year.

Sweet, thanks. That is actually closer to where I hunt than RCM, so I will check it out.

Thanks for the info

I like Alton Jenkins in Gurley. Nothing wrong with Allen's, just their sausage is too spicy for me even when they tone it down.

X3 here. Alton also runs a very, very clean shop.

How about someone out near Madison? Arab and Gurley are a little far to travel.

Also, will most of these processors process hogs?

Rocket City Meats is dirty, my wife won't go there nor buy anything from them, so it's a waste of time using them.

Thanks,
