I rabbit hunted when I was a boy with my dads dog's and then got some dogs when I grew up and kept them until a few years ago and got rid of them. I'm wanting to get some in the near future and looking for some reputable breeders. I'm not looking for slow trial dogs, but I do want them to run with their head down and move the rabbit at a medium fast speed when conditions are good, but can walk it when the conditions are bad. Need to be good around water. Basically i'll be wanting a couple pups and an old slower dog that's trash free to train them with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's a man that lives behind me that has 5 he's getting rid of. He wants to sell his collars to. He's got old and can't walk. I've not hunted the dogs but I hear them in the running pen beside my house.
