I am seeking one deer only membership for my Adair county KY hunting lease.

It is a 220 acre farm with 40 acres of ag land and the rest is wooded. It has 2 creeks, a pond, and a large cedar thicket as well as a few other smaller cedar thickets.

It is very good deer hunting, and is already set up with a number of stands, blind etc.

It holds a large number of deer due to the thicket.

There will only be four deer hunters total. It is a low impact, low pressure type of a place.

We only shoot good bucks..period. No does even with archery.

It is not for everyone, but only for someone interested in shooting a good buck over 120 inches minimum.

The cost is $1000 and the member must bring at least 2 ladder stands and 1 ground blind as well as fill club feeders with corn when there as part of the membership.

Only two of us hunted deer there last year and we both were successful harvesting good bucks. The third member really did not get to hunt more then 3 days of archery as he had other obligations.

It is located in Edmonton Ky and is only 3 1/2 hours from Huntsville area.

By the way, the other member at this lease saw shooters 3 out of four sits archery.

late season archery (after rifle and the rut) saw a 3 yr old 8 point harassing a doe on 1 out of 2 sits.

We passed over 10 3 year olds and are building the herd. We also passed a ton of 2 year olds.

Great hunting, we figured out how deer use the land and adjusted. We also passed all young bucks and focused on the top 4 of our hit list.

Everything else we passed building the herd.

It should be even better next year and each year after.


We have around 20 blind/stand sites and have found 4 more that we will be hanging stands/blinds on.

We also have 7 sites where we feed the deer, as it is legal in KY, and holds them on the property. Most are VERY close to the large cedar thickets.


We are looking for Trophy managed folks.

We might be adding another piece as well from 60-100 acres and if we do we will add one more member.
