I was coming out of the woods this AM and there was a doe on the other side of the creek (about 10' from the bank). Well the doe saw me and raised her tail and walked step for step beside me. She never blew or really spooked and when I'd stop she would stop and just look at me. She did this for 75-100 yds. Looked to be a 2 year old deer. Was pretty funny but strange too. Never seen one act like that.
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

You need to go to amazon and buy my book *At First Light*. It's a murder mystery in deer camp story that will make you think twice about what you see and hear in the woods!
You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

In my younger days I would always get a tarsal off of a hot doe that someone would kill at the camp. I'd drag it and hang it close to my stand. I was hunting a hardwood flat that I could see and hear anything that was within 120 yards. All of the sudden I hear chaos and chasing from the direction I walked in. A doe with a buck in toe was running the exact same trail I drug the tarsal. They were wide open and when she got to my tree they just FROZE. She was gassed and breathing hard. He would bump her and get her moving again only to circle around back to my tree 5 mins later and repeat. She did this 4 times. I can only believe she was trying to shake the buck and get him on to what she thought was another hot doe in the area.
