The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis Ever read "Letters from Earth" by Mark Twain? It's funny as all hell, but it will make you squirm in your seat if you are a believer. It was banned for a long time. In it's day it was considered quite blasphemous. "The Diary of Adam and Eve" is also eye opening.

In the process of reading one of Aldeer's own books. At First Light was written by treemydog. A very interesting book that is well written IMHO. Great plot and story line. Sorry I waited this long to read it. Great read and definitely worth the time. I just finished Sandy Harris' book (known here as treemydog) "At First Light". This is a well written mystery that had a bit of Stephen King or Daniel Koontz woven into the story line. While the crux of story is out there a bit, before I knew it I had totally bought it and found myself eagerly turning the page to see what happened next. The author didn't disappoint as he brought the story home. So glad I took the time to read the book. I highly recommend this one and look forward to Sandy's next offering..

I remember having to read this for my 8th grade history class. I need to go back and read it again because I know I didn't appreciate it then. It is a good read, the catcher in the rye is another classic that is a good one....

The Old Man and the Boy The Old Man's Boy Gets Older (that may not be exactly right) The Tenth Legion
The old man and the boy remind me of my paw paw. It's hard to keep a dry eye reading it
