Myself and 3FFarms are heading to the Uchee Creek SOA hunt and are looking a place to stay Feb 8th and 9th. I’ve got a hotel room booked in Phenix City but am hoping somebody has a camphouse or RV down there we could pay you to stay in. It would make the hunt a lot more enjoyable if we could sit around a camp fire after the hunt.

I used to have a camp on Cedar Heights road that I would have offered but shut it down three years ago. Got tired of getting ripped off.

There's just nothing around that area...it's really rural. If you have a camper then you could camp at Lakepoint on the north end of Eufaula. It probably wouldn't be any farther than driving from Phenix Cty. They may have some cabins for rent there....not sure. There's also another campground where 82 and 431 intersect but I forgot its name. It's probably gonna be cheaper than Lakepoint.

When my stepdad was alive we would get a cabin at Uchee creek campground but I think you have to be military or retired to stay there. We black powder hunted there for several years.
