Sorry if there have already been posts about this. Has anybody had their hands on one of these yet?? Reviews, thoughts? I'm interested.

Brother sent me the video last night. I'd be afraid it wouldn't work when I need it to. Pretty sweet concept. Use that and the new see through primos blind and the deer don't have a chance

Considering they're at an estimated cost point of $800, I'll pass.

That is bad ass... just don't think I can spend more on a site than I did on my bow..

I saw this sight at ATA this past week. It is very intriguing. It is price BUT if you factor in the price of a range finder and a bow sight, it's about the same. Plus there are $1000+ scopes on rifles. The coolest thing I saw was that 360 VIRB camera.

I saw today where there are two of the Garmin models, for $800 and $999 (the all-important dollar less than $1,000 because of marketing).

Hojo, what's the 360 VIRB? And how was the attendance?

Seems pretty cool to me, but I don't think I would ever be able to come off that kind of money for a bow sight. I figure another company will come out with something similar at a lower price point.

The 360 is one of their versions of a GoPo type camera. BUT it films in 360 degrees. Think of the ESPN 360 axis camera for football. It has a built in stabilizer as well. It will be incredible for second angle filming. Guy told us he threw it up in the air and it looked like a drone then he to the turned it down in could see it coming directly down and catching it.

Attendance was good I thought. Thursday was good, Friday morning was good as well. A lot of folks started scrambling to get out Friday afternoon to try and beat then storm. I've never really stayed for Saturday. I didn't see the bedazzled jeans, crazy shirt's and flat bills like I have in the past. Hopefully that fad has ran it's course.

Clem- They told us the difference in the 2 models. And those were retail prices. I'm not sure what you can buy them from a dealer. The only difference I can remember was the 1000$ had more dots and you could change colors.

Neat concept but too pricey. I'll pass. Someone else will come up with something similar at a much more reasonable cost.

This sight from IQ looks cool and may be of interest. Has a $350 price, plus/minus.

This is the writeup from Field & Stream about it:

Garmin’s may be the slickest new rangefinding bow sight, but based on the feedback I heard at the show, this is the one more hunters would feel comfortable putting on their bow. For one, it looks more or less like a normal bow sight. For two, if the electronics crap out with the Define, you’ve still got pins to aim with. Last, and probably most important, it’s affordable. IQ’s latest is a quality, 5-pin, aluminum sight with tool-less micro-adjust pins, plus a rangefinder that’s accurate to within one yard. And it’s simple to use. You sight in at 20 yards, and then calibrate the rangefinder to that mark. (Sight in your other four pins while you’re at it.) Then you simply press a button, mounted anywhere on the bow grip, and the laser starts ranging whatever your 20-yard pin is pointing at. If that’s a buck, just pick the right pin for the yardage, and let her go. When you consider the cost of a good sight plus that of a good rangefinder, plus the value of not having to carry a separate unit, the price tag on the Define looks better and better. $349; iqbowsight.com —D.H.
