We are scheduled to hunt at Enon Plantation, starting this Thursday. I just looked on Google Maps and it said that Enon Plantation is permanently closed. Does anyone have any information on this?
Thanks

The deer shouldn’t be pressured.

No it's not closed. It's not owned by the people that ran for years before though. Pm if you have any questions.

If they don’t treat you right be sure to throw their chairs out of the shooting house.

I can tell you they saw racked bucks regularly with confidence. I'm in that area a lot. Was on the plantation just the other day and you wouldn't be disappointed. I've seen 23-25 racked bucks in one short afternoon sit before.

I did a quick look at it a few months ago for a client and it wasn't a good tract IMHO. A lot of it is locked into conservation easements and you are limited with what you can do with the land.

It seems many of the large properties that were put into conservation easements for tax savings are being divided and sold once they owners can no longer realize the tax savings of the easements.

Only 4000 acres left? Wasn’t it over 30k at one time with sehoy?

It broke up several years back and has continued.

They screwed it all up. Should have found a way to keep it in big tracts. Will be gone / busted up completely in a few more generations.

Very good area for deer density…..There’s a few big ones here and there but don’t expect to go there hunting 150”+ deer or anything. You ought to see plenty though if the weather cooperates. There’s also Pa-Ko Plantation in the same neighborhood….You might also check out Super Tree Farm Guide Service which is not far from there. Kent is an aldeer member as well…..super good guy.....great deer hunting there too.
