Have been looking at them for a while but wasn't sure about a rubber boots fit and how theyd do moving up hillsides. I own almost every brand of supposedly waterproof boots like Lacrosse, Rocky, Danner, Chippewah, Cabelas brand and maybe another brand or two. They all leak and some very bad so I bought a pair of Muck Boots. I wish I'd done it a few years ago bc these are the best boots I've owned for hunting. They do not leak and don't slip on my feet when going uphill or downhill and they keep my feet warm and dry just like I want a hunting boot to perform

Which ones did you get?

Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-bitches.

Just sent brand new pair of Muck boots back. They ripped the very first time I put them on. Mucks quality does not seem to be anything like it use to be????? First pair last 7-8 years.

I've had mine for a few weeks and so far very good. I wanted to put them through some different terrain before I said anything about them. They have performed flawlessly where others have failed. I have a creek flowing right through the middle of my property so waterproofing is extremely important to me. The fit and warmth these boots give me along with waterproofing hasn't been matched by any other boot and as you can see I own a few pairs. Sorry you've had trouble with yours

I've had 3-4 brands of rubber-neoprene boots including Muck.

How are these boots tearing when y'all are putting them on your feet or they begin leaking after only a week or two? I mean, are y'all walking through scree or cutover with sharp stobs or something?

Companies can have issues with anything. It's amazing the amount of issues and such on this site about boots, though.

Mucks are the most comfortable, lightest of all the "rubber" boots to me. That said, their the worst lasting boot I have ever worn. I'd take a pair if someone gave them to me, but I'm not spending $100 plus for a pair.

I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

I guess it depends on your style of hunting. I got tired of my feet getting cold sitting on real cold mornings. Bought a pair of woody max mucks to give them a try. I had muck field masters I liked but weren't good when it was very cold.
I'm not that hard on boots since I'm an old fart that likes to sit in shooting houses and ladder stands. The woody max are the warmest and most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I've had this pair for several years and if they wear out I'll get another pair. No reason for me to suffer thru cold feet doing something that I enjoy. They're good to 20 or so with a pair of heavy wool socks, colder than that and I stick in some toasty toes and it's all good. Old folks get cold ya know!

love me some muck boots. I had my first pair for about 5 years before they wore out. I bought a pair of woody max but they are to stiff. Ive been wearing some feild blazers for 3 seasons now and I wear them fishing. They are still in good shape. I just bought a pair of the wetlands and they are my favorite pair so far.

I have both muck and lacrosse. Briars ripped the top of my mucks, but I plan on buying a new pair of lacrosse burleys every 3-4 years too. They dryrot. Lacrosse give more and fit me better, mucks are stiff. It's just what you like.

Been wearing Mucks probably 15 or more years. I loved them the first time I put them on. For years I strained to pull Burley's on and off. the only way a pair tears putting them on is them dry rotting. I hunt near water, it's my preference and they've never let me down. I have WoodytMax for morning hunts and field boots for evenings. My feet sweat and They have to be dried. I also have a pr of their slip on shoes for before and after I take my boots off. The hunt is over when my feet get cold. These boots are worth the cost for me.

I had my first pair for about 7 years. They were still water proof and no tears. I've had my new pair for about 2 years now with no issues.

I was literally just putting them on my foot and used the loop to tug a little for heel to slip in ( maybe 4 or 5 pounds pressure). The entire top half of the boot seperated from the neoprene. They were a Christmas Gift. Size 15s to fit over my Frodo feet. Dang they let me down. These were Fieldblazer 2s and upon inspection just looked cheap to be honest.

Muck boots are the most uncomfortable pieces of chit I've ever worn.

I have swapped to the Sportsman’s Guide “Wood Creek Insulated Hunting Boots” and they are by far the best I’ve ever used. They are much more comfortable, warmer, and lighter weight than any Muck’s or Lacrosse’s I’ve ever owned. Plus, they’re $81.99 for a 1000 gram thinsulate pair when they run a sale on them (now)

To each their own but I love my mucks. I own three pair. Hunt in field blazers, pour concrete in chore and everyday work in leather Wellingtons.

Workin for the man, huntin when I can.
