The twelve days of Christmas starts on Christmas Day. Ending on January the 6th with the feast of Epiphany. This year was the first time we took ours down before the 6th in a long time. I’m impressed!

The twelve days of Christmas starts on Christmas Day. Ending on January the 6th with the feast of Epiphany. This year was the first time we took ours down before the 6th in a long time. My wife (the U.K.child-bride immigrant) insists that it is extremely bad luck to leave your tree up past Epiphany. Any good Alabamian knows the reasoning behind this--they need to be in the lake before the crappie spawn.
