I’m back at it in Pickens County. Sitting in a hardwood drain in a cutover, good luck to all.

I don't always hunt the line, but when I do, I make sure I'm close to my neighbor's 8 acre bean field.

I’m in a shooting house in a low bottom along the creek this afternoon. It’s much, much more comfortable conditions than yesterday afternoon!!

Pretty sure every deer within a 5 mile radius smelled me this evening. 3 different groups from 3 different directions blew at me. Damn wind just flat sucked.

rofl I can't argue!! Lawd, I hunt SO much in October and November, that I'm just out of gas by now. I did finally go today though, I'll pat myself on the back!

Killed a doe this afternoon. Saw 5 more at 5 pm but got blown up thanks to all this swirling wind.

Finally killed my first racked buck after many near misses and close calls. Feels great to get the monkey off my back. He’s no giant but I couldn’t be happier with him.

Killed my biggest yet....he is a young eight pointer so not a hoss by any means. But he is special to me being he is the first one I have killed on our small property after trying for five years! Can someone post pics for me?
